Riding the Arctic Circle Train
While we normally encourage travellers to linger over journeys and stop off along the way, the very character of this route suggests a different strategy. The overnight journey to Swedish Lapland is worth doing in one long hop. Most places of real interest lie beyond Kiruna – in the final three hours of the journey. From Narvik we continue to the Lofoten by bus.
