From Amsterdam to Oslo by boat and train
We’ll visit ports shaped by the Hanseatic League and feel the sea breeze on this journey through four countries. It’s a route which wouldn’t be complete without a short sea journey, so we include a hop by boat across the Skagerrak; that’s the name of the strait separating northern Denmark from Norway. A highpoint of the journey (literally) is the Rendsburger Hochbrücke (Rendsburg High Bridge) on the railway between Hamburg and the Danish border.
