Route 52: the ultimate challenge

Debrecen to Lviv by train

Route introduction

Route 26 is the easy way from Debrecen to Lviv (Львів). But Route 52 is much slower, crossing areas the very names of which evoke a sense of history: Transylvania and Bukovina. Along the way we traverse the Carpathian Mountains and the final section of the route, in south-west Ukraine, is through hilly country, culminating in the beautiful city of Lviv.
